Kate & Ben – Godwick Hall Wedding

Kate & Ben had already seen some of our work as we produced a friend of their’s wedding video – Emma & Toby’s wedding in 2011. Kate said she “liked the examples of previous work that you had done, and felt reassured that the filming would be discreet i.e. we and our guests wouldn’t notice after a while! Apricot Weddings were also high quality and good value compared to other companies” Nice to hear!

They chose the stunning Godwick Hall as their venue and this was the first time we’ve filmed there.  The Great Barn is one of the oldest barns in Norfolk situated on the deserted medieval village of Godwick, near Kings Lynn

Kate & Ben held their wedding ceremony outside –  guests were seated on hay bales and there was a fantastic view of the ruined church tower of Godwick in the background. As you can see from the list of suppliers below, Kate & Ben chose (with help from family and friends) to go “DIY” and based on the lovely results, I think it should inspire others to do so.

In the evening, the wedding party really kicked off with wedding-band The I Do’s getting everyone up and dancing – which made for some great footage of how much everyone enjoyed this very special celebration.

Rowan was fantastic before, during and after our wedding. Right down to the music selected, we are really pleased with the video and are so pleased that we decided to do it.

Kate & Ben
He captured the spirit of our wedding day beautifully and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Apricot Weddings.

Kate & Ben
Thank you so much for the wedding DVD. We are so pleased with it, so thank you very much indeed.

Rowan is very amenable, open to suggestion, and importantly very good at his job!  He will capture the atmosphere perfectly in our opinion.
